What cities do you serve? How far do you travel?
David Anderson Weddings serves the Sioux City, IA tristate area. We do not charge travel rates within a 60 mile radius of Sioux City, IA.
David Anderson Weddings is willing to travel to your destination even if outside of our home base of operations. Some of the locations we have visited includes:
South Dakota: Aberdeen, Mitchell, Sioux Falls, Brandon, Yankton, Vermillion
Minnesota: Red Lake Falls
Iowa: Des Moines, Ida Grove, Odebolt, Altoona
Travel rates are $1 per mile if event is 60+ miles from our base of operations.
If travel is more than 90 minutes one way, a lodging fee may be required if overnight expense is necessary. Safety is of paramount importance for our crew as some events can turn into 20 hour work days and we prefer not to be on the roads while fatigued.
What are your prices and packages?
Pricing for your event is based upon a number of factors. Please submit an information request on our contact page so we can start building an estimate for you.
But that answer's not what you are looking for though, right? :)
Location, load out access, travel, types of services requested, number of guests, and special production requests all may have some effect on pricing, which is why we need to know as much information as possible so that we can be accurate in giving you an estimate of services.
We are really big into providing a unique and personalized experience for our clientele. This is why David Anderson Weddings no longer have set packages. We ended up changing packages all the time so it didn't make sense to have them posted online anymore. Say no to "cookie cutter" celebrations!
Instead, simply tell us what you're looking for and will bring to the table solutions and ideas on how we can bring your vision to life! You invest in a customized package that only includes what you want or need!
David Anderson Weddings has a flat entertainer's performance rate. This means that we do not charge per hour as by doing so does not represent what you're paying for. You receive event planning guidance in addition to performance coverage time, set up and teardown (can be 12-16 hour days for your entertainer) included in the performer's rate.
David Anderson Weddings has a flat rate of $2500 for peak dates (May - December).
Off peak rate is $2100 (January - April).
Add-on services are available "a-la-carte." Please complete an information request form so we can start building a package for your needs!
What is it that you do? Why are you different from other DJs?
We will never say that we are the best in what we do (our clients will be the judge of that!).
What we can say is that we do take a unique approach to performing at your event. Weddings are celebrations that should be full of love, joy, and excitement! We work with you to bring out the special relationships you have to build meaningful moments during your celebration!
With us, you gain a Master of Ceremonies who will direct, inform, and guide your guests through the story that has been yours in the making.
This means that we truly care about the success of your celebration, and this begins way before your wedding day!
We also require a face to face consulation before we reserve a date. Why? Wouldn't you want to make sure that you like and trust your entertainer before booking him or her? Will our personalities be a match? Will I be able to provide what you're looking for? These questions are put to rest once we meet in person. If you feel that we are the best match for your needs, then we can move forward with building an exciting experience! If not, we can help in making recommendations.
David Anderson Weddings is also excited to bring top level performance in the realm of lighting design, photo booth, and video animation design. We use these elements to help elevate the overall theme of your celebration.

Do you provide services for more than just weddings?
Why yes we do! David Anderson Weddings is a division of All About You DJ Music & Entertainment. Aside from weddings, we specialize in corporate services as well with an emphasis on lighting design, A/V solutions, photo booth, and game show productions.
We can build a package that fits your corporate needs including brand focused options.
Are you insured?
David Anderson Weddings is insured carrying public liablility insurance. Most prominant venues in the United States requre that vendors carry public liability insurance with at least a $1,000,000.00 coverage policy. Have peace of mind knowing that you are working with an insured entertainment company.
Do you use contracts?
Yes we do! David Anderson Weddings has a contract that we require both parties to sign as part of the reservation process. This provides protections for both parties, and is another element in providing peace of mind.
You have a photo booth. Can it be booked seperately from your DJ services?
Absolutely! Our Snap Your Fun Photo Booth service can be booked separately from our DJ services! This of course is based upon availability. This is a full service option that offers onsite printing, custom print designs, custom backdrops, album scrapbooks, digital copies, and more!
Can we use you for just lighting services?
Yes! David Anderson Weddings can be hired for your lighting only needs! Perhaps you have already selected your entertainment, but still need help in designing your venue's decor? We can provide full room lighting, pipe & draping, video mapping, and digital monograms to make a total transformation to your event!
We recommend an on-site consultation so we can discuss options that best fit your needs!
I want to make my own package. Are there bundled discounts?
Depending on the type of services requested, David Anderson Weddings provides bundled discounts. We aim to be fair and appreciate your business in using us to meet most if not all your needs!
How do I reserve my date?
After we have talked and or visited with each other about your event, we will have built a package based on your needs. Then upon your request we will send you our service contract.
DJ/Master of Ceremonies/Game Show:
Service contract must be signed and returned along with first payment of $500.00 to reserve your date within 7 days of contract being sent. This is the only time period where we will tentatively "hold" a date.
Lighting Only/Photo Booth Only:
Photo booth and lighting only services require a $250 down payment in addition to signed contract within 7 days.
